Geoffroy Langlade

Journalist, author and film director specializing in the areas Boating/ Sports/ Leisure/ Lifestyle for over 20 years.

Fascinated by the sea, he has to his credit more than 500 boat tests and reports in the yachting world and many Commercials and Corporate films. He is also the author of several books in the boating and consultant for publishing, TV and web.

 

After studying law at Paris II-Assas University, he graduated from the prestigious School of Journalism ESJ in Paris.

1993, he wrote several articles in the student press, daily press France-Soir and participated in the creation of the first street mag Faim de Siècle. While performing his military service with the SIRPA-Mer (French Navy PR Department), he worked in several media including Le Figaro, under "La Vie à Paris".

From 1995, he began a regular collaboration with the magazine Neptune-Moteur (Hachette-Filipacchi Group) and specialized in the fields of sport and recreation by signing reports in L’Officiel Homme, Men’s Health, l’Européen, L’Optimum, Jalouse, Bateaux, Edgar, VSD, Vital... He covered several sporting events (Camel Trophy, Raid Gauloises, African Jet Raid) for broadcasting production companies and TV channels such as Eurosport and collaborated in the TV show Nautisme on LCI

From 2000, he launched a motorboat topic on AB Moteurs (AB Group) and created Powerboat, first TV show dedicated to powerboats as a film director, animator and chief editor.

In 2001, he founded Glob'Eau Productions and developed TV broadcasting productions & corporate films worlds Lifestyle, Yachting & Sailing, Sport.

2002, consecration for Powerboat TV show, nominated in the category I-Theme of “Best Service Program” beside Stéphane Rotenberg and Thierry Ardisson (famous Tv presenters).

2004, launch of Quad News on AB Moteurs, the first program dedicated to ATV.

2005, creating Glob 'Eau Presse, the publishing company of Hors-Bord Magazine (powerboat) and specialized advertising press agency.

2007, launch of a Tv program dedicated to boat on the international channel Motors TV, broadcast in 6 languages ​​and 39 countries.

Geoffroy Langlade continued his collaboration with AB Moteurs, Motors TV and also Sport+ by commenting live the world championship F1 UIM or the most prestigious nautical races.

From 2008, la TV d’Orange entrusts to Glob'Eau Productions the direction of a daily and exclusive video contents in triple play on a VOD channel dedicated to the Paris Boat Show.
From 2012 , Figaro Nautisme entrusted the production of exclusive video contents for its web portal with current news, a lifestyle serie « Palaces of the coast », reports on major nautical events (Les Voiles St Tropez, Le Nautic Paris) ...

At the same time, he launched his own blog Plein Gaz on Figaro.fr (french #1 daily).

2012, he also began his collaboration with Nautical Channel (4 languages, 42 countries) with short programs, reports, magazines 26'.

2014, he signed “Bateaux à moteur de rêve” to Vagnon editions (Fleurus Group).

2016, he wrote and directed a TV documentary 52 minutes « RIVA, UN HOMME, UN MYTHE », dedicated to RIVA, legendary boatyard founded in 1842, whose runabouts still fascinate today.

2017 to 2020, Geoffroy Langlade is Editorial and Content Director of Figaro Nautisme (Figaro Group) in charge of Digital Development and Print Specials Issues (Route du Rhum, Summer Issue, Cannes Yachting Festival, Yachting 2021...).

2021 Launch of the first 100% MaxiBoat.tv Boat Podcast to be found on the main listening platforms (Spotify, Deezer, Google Podcast, Apple Podcast ...) and social networks. Launch of the international MaxiBoat.tv TV show on Nautical Channel available in 50 countries and distributed on 70 TV platforms.

Since 2022 Co-founder of Nautic Screen, the 1st SVOD platform for boating. 100% nautical video streaming: sailing, motor boat, catamaran, offshore racing, yacht, jet ski, water sports.

Editor-in-chief of Boat Heroes (Heroes Media Group), Men and Character Boats.

2023 Consultant in Heroes Media Group and in change of Boating section in VSD monthly Magazine.
