

Geoffroy Langlade
Journalist, author and film director specializing in the areas Boating, Sports, Lifestyle for over 20 years.
Fascinated by the sea, he has to his credit more than 500 boat tests and reports in the yachting world and many Commercials and Corporate films. He is also the author of several books in the boating and consultant for publishing, the press, television, and digital media.
A graduate of the University of Paris II Assas (law) and the École Supérieure de Journalisme (ESJ), he began his career in 1993 at France-Soir, helped launch Faim de Siècle (a street magazine), and later contributed to Le Figaro’s “La Vie à Paris” section while serving in the military with SIRPA-Mer. In 1995, he joined Neptune-Moteur magazine as a freelance writer (Hachette-Filipacchi Group) and specialized in sports and leisure, signing reports for major publications (L’Officiel Homme, Men’s Health, l’Européen, L’Optimum, Jalouse, Bateaux, Edgar, VSD, Vital…). He covered major sporting events (Camel Trophy, Raid Gauloises, African Jet Raid) for production companies and television networks (Eurosport) and contributed in the Tv Show Nautisme on LCI.
In 2000, as film director, animator, and editor-in-chief, he created Powerboat, the first TV show dedicated to motorboats, on AB Moteurs (AB Groupe-Mediawan). The show was nominated for an I-Themes award in 2002 alongside Stéphane Rotenberg and Thierry Ardisson in the Best Service Program category.
He then founded Glob’Eau Productions, developed TV broadcasting productions & corporate films worlds Lifestyle, Yachting & Sailing, Sport and launched Quad News on AB Moteurs (2004).
In 2005, he founded Glob’Eau Presse, the publishing company of Hors-Bord Magazine (powerboat) and specialized advertising press agency.
Starting in 2007, he developed an international Tv Program dedicated to boat on the international channel Motors TV, broadcast in 6 languages across 39 countries.
He also continued his collaboration with AB Moteurs, Motors TV, and Sport +, providing live commentary on the UIM F1 World Championship and the most prestigious nautical races.
From 2008 to 2012, he produced the VOD event channel for the Nautic Paris boat show on behalf of Orange. Le Figaro Nautisme then entrusted him with producing exclusive video contents for its web portal with current news, a lifestyle serie « Palaces of the coast », reports on major nautical events and the creation of the blog Plein Gaz. In 2012, he also began collaborating with Nautical Channel with short programs, reports, magazines 26'.
He authored the book Bateaux à moteur de rêve (2014), published by Vagnon (Fleurus Group), and in 2016, directed the 52-minute TV documentary RIVA, un homme, un mythe, dedicated to the legendary shipyard founded in 1842.
From 2017 to 2020, he headed the editorial department and content at Figaro Nautisme (Figaro Group), overseeing digital development and special print editions (Route du Rhum, Summer Guide, Cannes Yachting Festival, Yachting 2021, etc.).
Since 2021, he has been developing the MaxiBoat.tv brand through an international TV show on Nautical Channel (broadcast in 50 countries and on 70 TV platforms); his “100 % bateau” Podcast (available on Spotify, Deezer, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, etc.) ; his Newsletter dedicated to professionals, boat owners, and boating enthusiasts; and his strong social media presence (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X).
In 2022, he launched Nautic Screen, the first SVOD platform dedicated to boating. 100% nautical video streaming: sailing, motor boat, catamaran, offshore racing, yacht, jet ski, water sports.
In 2023, Geoffroy Langlade authored the biography of Franky Zapata, The Man Who Flies, published by City Editions.
At the same time, he contributes to several French and international magazines: Yacht Style (Asia), Barche (Italy), Beau Magazine…
He is in charge of the yachting editorial content for the English-language magazine Only Yacht (Pastor Group – Monaco), a columnist for the monthly magazine VSD, and a consultant for the Heroes Media Group, where he serves as Editor-in-chief of Boat Heroes (Men and Boats of Character) and Snow Heroes (Mountain Style & Snow Sports), as well as a contributor to Auto Heroes, Montre Heroes, and Heroes Style.
